You have two options. The first, which is the easiest, is to maintain the fire "P" license through the Department of Community Affairs and maintain your security under the Department of Consumer Affairs.

The second and more painful option, is to fill out an application for the fire alarm license through Department of Consumer Affairs. You must provide 80 hours of training plus provide proof of 6,720 hours (4 years) trade related experience. Then you have to pass the test.
